A Vees Tarot Zine
A free, digital-only, Vees-centric zine based on the Crowley Thoth Tarot deck. It will contain both art and fic based on the Vees individually and together.

You must be over 18.
This zine will allow both SFW and NSFW creations. This includes both violence and sex. Please manage your own comfort levels.
This zine is focused on the Vees and Staticmoth. However, we also allow past Radiosilence and past/current levels of Valangel. While other romantic/sexual ships will not be in focus for this zine, any hate on people shipping something someone doesn't like will not be tolerated. We can be civil and say "that's not my cup of tea". Within the zine itself, mentions of Velvette having lesbian relationships or Valentino fucking his whores (and any other unnamed Sinners/demons) are also allowed.
On that note, anyone against proshippers, who thinks the "pro" stands for "problematic" instead of being pro any sort of shipping, or is found to act as an anti in any way will not be chosen. If somehow making it through the process and found to be judgemental later, they will be dropped immediately from the project.
Not being picked is not a judgement on your capabilities or what you have shared.
Be sure to write Future of Hell at the end of the application, so we know you read the rules!
When linking art or fic samples, make sure they contain the the Vees! Especially if there is a character or dynamic you really want to create for. You may also include other samples, but if none of them contain the Vees, your application will be passed over.

The zine dimensions will be 7''x11''. Art will be 6.5''x10.5'', with a tarot border of .5''x.5'' placed over each.As we are digital only, there is no maximum restriction on fic. Minimum is 1k.
Minor Arcana
After the Major Arcana we will have a section for the Minor Arcana! These will be smaller pieces of art and fics, where each creator gets to choose which character or combination and bid on which one to do.There are four Minor Arcana, which for our purposes are: Popularity (Swords), Lights (Wands), Bottles (Cups), and Screens (Disks). They each go ace through ten, then Princess, Prince, Queen, and Knight. Fourteen times four is fifty six minor pieces!For this, art can still be in card form, but does not have to be. The maximum dimensions will be 3.5''x5.5'' (or 5.5''x3.5'' if you wish to have landscape).Minor Arcana fics will be 100 - 1k words.
The Process
While you are leaving links to specific pieces of art and writing, Top Mod will be taking those and assigning them a number as a portfolio instead of by name. This is so the Art and Fic mods (and those assisting them) won't know anyone by name.The decision of who gets what Major Arcana will be done as blind as possible and focused only on the samples you provide. Of course, the mods may recognize the work sent, but there is only so much we can do.Any art or fic that has your name removed in this way will only be used for the selection process. It will not be posted anywhere else except for privately between the mods during the portfolio review.

Do I have to be familiar with tarot to be a contributor?No! You can always do a general internet search for Crowley’s Thoth Tarot before signing up, but even if you don’t, that is what our wonderful Tarot Mod Jo is here for!Is this like a bang where the art and the fic have to echo each other?Nope! If you and the other person working on a specific arcana wish to work on your pieces together though, we’re totally for it! But the check in dates are for everyone simultaneously, so neither artists or writers are expected to be finished first.Am I ineligible if I only have one piece published?Not at all! Enter the one piece as your portfolio. However, there is three whole weeks for you to make a second piece. Not every piece you show has to be the art with all the details in the background or a longfic with all the worldbuilding. While it is about quality, a lot of it is showing that you can finish something. That’s important!Do you accept filtered links on AO3/Tumblr/etc or only links to individual pieces?We accept filtered links! However, I (the Head Mod) am the one sorting through applications. The Art and Fic Mods then have an anonymous profile to look at and decide on. If you don’t give me exact pieces, I grab what I think is a good handful of your work. I do my best, but you know what is your best better than I.You could curate a portfolio through Proton or Google Drive! There is also a comment box on the last page of the application. If you need more space for links, you can always put them there.I want to contribute something extra (music, podfic, comics)! Can I?Hell yes! That’s amazing! However, we need to have all the Major Arcana filled first before we can focus on the Minor Arcana or any extras. The answer is yes... as long as we fulfil all 22 Major Arcana.
